Creating Payroc Payment Methods for POS

Create Point of Sale payment methods that talk to your Payroc provider. You can use a physical terminal, keyed Manual Entry, or both.

Create a terminal method (card present)

1. Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Payment Methods.

2. Create a new payment method (or open an existing card method).

3. Set Integration to Terminal.

4. Set Integrate with to Payroc

5. Fill in:

   1. Payroc Payment Provider - The Payroc provider you configured

   2. Terminal Serial Number - Device serial number

   3. Processing Terminal ID - Terminal ID from Payroc Cloud

Create a Manual Entry method (keyed card)

Use this when there is no device, or for MOTO-style entry in POS.

1. Create another payment method.

2. Set Integration to Terminal.

3. Set Integrate with to Payroc Manual Entry

4. Fill in:

   1. Payroc Payment Provider - The Payroc provider you configured

   2. Processing Terminal ID - Terminal ID from Payroc Cloud
      **No device serial is required.

Add methods to a POS

1. Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale.

2. Open the POS that should accept Payroc.

3. Under payment methods, add your Payroc and/or Payroc Manual Entry methods.

4. Save.

5. Close any open session on that POS, then open a new session so the methods load.
